Update: Enjoying this. Laugh out loud a couple of times. Still a little disappointed at some obvious editing errors and there are a few phrases that honestly make no sense. Example: The FMC internally narrated that the muscle between her legs pulled. Ummmmm what? That’s probably the weirdest one but there was another one too. Bought the book and am enjoying it enough I won’t regret getting it.

Update: Thought I’d give it another try but I just can’t. Sorry but it’s a DNF for me.

Update: Sadly, as much as the summary has pulled me in, I don’t like reading Third Person POV books. That’s a DNF for me. :(

Update: Not gonna lie, I love this book and am so stoked to read it again. I’m planning on a biannual reading of this series, May and December (or November). How can I not reread them? This author, the world she created, the characters she’s brought to life and the stories she’s written are absolutely incredible.

Update: I do like bully romances, but not this one at all. It’s a DNF for me.

Update: Aaaaand that’s a DNF for me. I can’t stand the FMC. I also hate when authors decide to force the MMC to change for the FMC. You can write a mafia/mob story and make him some soft spoken bend to the will of the woman kind of guy. No thank you.

Update: I’m so tempted to DNF. The FMC is so freaking stubborn, stupid and just…ugh!! I get you want to retain some independence, but you’re in danger, you’re pregnant with twins and you can’t just ignore that in favor of shoving it to the man. I don’t like the FMC at all. Too much of a backbone unnecessarily.

Update: I’ve never read a book by this author before but grabbed it on KU after seeing an ad for it. We shall see how it goes? 😅
