Update: I’m loving it. 🥰

Update: Not gonna lie, I love this book and am so stoked to read it again. I’m planning on a biannual reading of this series, May and December (or November). How can I not reread them? This author, the world she created, the characters she’s brought to life and the stories she’s written are absolutely incredible.

Update: I do like bully romances, but not this one at all. It’s a DNF for me.

Update: Aaaaand that’s a DNF for me. I can’t stand the FMC. I also hate when authors decide to force the MMC to change for the FMC. You can write a mafia/mob story and make him some soft spoken bend to the will of the woman kind of guy. No thank you.

Update: I’m so tempted to DNF. The FMC is so freaking stubborn, stupid and just…ugh!! I get you want to retain some independence, but you’re in danger, you’re pregnant with twins and you can’t just ignore that in favor of shoving it to the man. I don’t like the FMC at all. Too much of a backbone unnecessarily.

Update: I’ve never read a book by this author before but grabbed it on KU after seeing an ad for it. We shall see how it goes? 😅

Update: Now at 33% and I obviously love the book (this is my 6th time reading it) and want to keep going but an early morning awaits me. Tomorrow, I’m diving back in. 💛

Update: I absolutely looooove this book. Small Town. Single Parent (Single Mom & Single Dad), Found Family. Can’t get enough. 💛

Update: Almost finished but as much as I wanna push through, I’m falling asleep and I don’t want to miss a moment of it. See ya soon though.

Update: I knew there was more to the story. Hopefully, the FMC will figure it out and end up with who she’s obviously supposed to end up with. 🤞🏼

Update: I’m actually enjoying this so far. Let’s hope that continues.

Update: Yeah…no. I don’t think this can be classified as “single dad” when he doesn’t even have his kid. The author makes it perfectly clear that the MMC hurt his ex and doesn’t deserve his child and blah blah blah. I don’t like it and I’m not here for it. Bye. DNF.

Update: I love this book, this series so freaking much and Maddie & Hendrix are the OGs of this world created by an amazing author. It’s gonna hurt but it’s gonna get better and end with an HEA. Gotta hold tight to that.
