are you neurodivergent in the least? Do you suffer from second-hand embarrassment? Maybe this book is not for you.

Irish ghost haunting American do-gooder. Hmmmmm.

It’s… going. The female narrator has this weird uptick at the end of her sentences. Lucy is kind of annoying but not the weird FMC.

I want to believe in POC fantasy. 😭

Everyone is angry. Like, why are we perpetuating stereotypes and troupes!?(and not just the: werewolves and vampires don’t get along) I loved the idea of a witch, a siren, and a vampire all dorm together but WHEW, the attitude is THICK.

Brain said brrrr when I started.

FINALLY. I finished it all in like two hours. After putting it off for… we’ll see in a hot minute.

Arghhh I need to read and finish this library book.

We're just going to gloss over the book from the Library of Alexandria that Raven just carelessly burned? Just... skip that..? Alright.

Whewwwwwww.

This book felt like ADHD personified.

FINALLY. After (almost) a year of struggling to read and finish I did it.

The coziest of rainbow rowell’s books. Like a warm hug on this blustery day.

Cute, with a little predictability if you know what the symptoms are. Interesting view of how Chinese-Americans vary in their “Chinese-ness” (a phrase the characters and author uses in her note!) within a neighborhood.

So… I finished. If only because I’m working on an art project and I needed something to fill the noise in the back. It gave me “gold star lesbian” vibes and that wasn’t good. It was overall meh and I feel bad cuz my friends talked it up so much and I just.. wasn’t impressed.

Oh lord this book. It’s been all over the place. Let’s see how it ends finally.
