Starting #2!

Well, this one set its fangs in me and did not let go. Very nice. 5/5.

You will not find moral guidance in these stories. All heroes are flawed and borderline evil, if not at the start of the journey, then at the end.

I am unsure if the female characters are made evil by some divine intervention (looking at you Medea), or are made evil by their circumstances.


I like this book so much though!

Doing this one as audiobook via Spotify.

A bunch of unlikeable protagonists study ancient Greek under an eccentric protagonist. Then the Baccae are mentioned. I wonder where this Chekov's rifle will go (\s). The story is nice, and the language is flowery but a bit predictable. I wonder where this will go.

Matt Dinniman said it was good. So, I will give this a try!
