I’m excited, but as a scientist, sometimes I wish she would just get to the damn point. It is written very academically, but as I am reading leisurely, I do not care for the difference between “narrative, project, and agendas”. Pages are spent defining words and analytical techniques. I wish there were a methods, results and discussion like in science so that I could skip to what I’m looking for!!!

A highly anticipated read. Looks like a quick story. Conceptually excellent, but these first few pages has me worried that the writing and/or translation is a little too on the nose. Lets see!

I don’t need to finish the book to already know that I will be giving this a 5 star rating. In fact, I had to go and amend the ratings i’ve given to other books to better discriminate between them all, so that the 5 stars given to this book have more meaning. I’m incredibly hooked and look forward to the rest of the book!
