This is a grind… nobody is as awesome as this heroine. She’s the most special, most skinny, most tiny, most attractive Mary Sue to ever grace the pages… I’ve almost given up on this series but I keep reminding myself that book 1 was epic and it’s possible Sanderson has a trick up his sleeve if he can just work out his fetish with tiny powerful perfect women 😂😂😂

Silvery blond hair…. Chocolate tresses would be a nice change, all us brunettes are underrated it seems

NOTHING IS HAPPENING. I bet only 2 days have passed since the last book ended - tons of internal thought processes and no actual action.... I am not sure I will be able to finish... SO, so, so boring

I typically run from fairy tale reboots - I took a chance and now I can’t stop!!! I started yesterday morning and I can’t stop listening…

I’m not sure if I have the heart for 26 hours of this but I have committed to the series so here goes. A court of frost and starlight really bogged me down…

Mary Bennett is quiet the unlikeable character. A self righteous young lady that seems to think projecting her convictions on others is the correct behavior - unware that her strong opinions are not quiet as Holy and Christ like as she would like to think. By being so portentous her statements of "truth" don't help her peers but instead offend and leave a bad taste of "religion".

I didn’t see it coming… the conflict is more complicated than I was thinking

Dislikes: the use of “AF” - it’s just annoying, feels like excerpts of a paragraph from teen texting. Perhaps it’s because I’m listening to the audio but I think a book should both read and sound good

Likes: the major conflict - underlying issues between the different types of paranormals. There is room for a lot of plot development

Feelinh cheesy… main character’s fav show is legacies and yet all the weird references her new school mates make that might indicate this school isn’t normal aren’t a clue to her perhaps these people are supernatural 🤦‍♀️
