Oof, while evidently not the first or unique story of its kind, The Perfect Match sure hits harder than it would have 3 or 4 years ago, before the rise of LLMs, and more recently, agentic AI. The further we "progress", the more likely it seems we're truly heading towards a world where humans become unthinking puppets of AI and big tech...

After almost 4 years, I'm picking up The Dresden Files again, with the intention of doing it all on audio. I'm already enjoying the narration on this audiobook re-read.

I get the idea, but I don't think I need a full book about it...

This one has been a bit tough to get into so far 😕
