The child got an MP3 player for Christmas. I forgot about those 😂

I know that Meyer’s focus was this being a romance but if she had done the fourth book as more of a conspiracy takeover with the Volturi, this would have been a way more entertaining book. But I don’t think Meyer is capable of writing that well.

Bella is even more horny as a vampire. If she had just changed into a vampire before the honeymoon then we wouldn’t need majority of this book 😂

Th demon spawn has ALL their teeth as a newborn 😨 that is terrifying

Leah yelled at Bella for how she has been treating Jacob while Jacob was away and I have never loved a character more! Good for Leah.
Also, she and Rosalie should team up

Alice just asked Jacob what he and the demon spawn have in common since she can’t see the future when they are around and I think this is Stephanie trying to drop hints about what is going to happen and I don’t like it. You can’t normalize this for me Stephanie!!!

Get this girl into therapy. She is only dreaming about a son (who looks exactly like Edward) and only ever imagined having an older brother. Someone clearly has issues! (There is nothing wrong with wanting a son or brothers but the fact that Bella won’t even consider a daughter seems weird)

Edward, you just got laid, can we please stop being so angsty?! You can be concerned for your wife but she is in heaven and would not care if you had broken her bones. She’s fine 😂

I say we push Bella, Jacob and Edward off a cliff because they are all annoying me. Sadly, Bella has brought Jacob down to her level so he is insufferable.

I don’t understand why Bella is so adamant against marrying Edward. She wants to be with him forever and his one condition to change her is that they get married. Why is that so disgusting to her? And she tries to pressure Edward to sleep with her. Again, his only condition is that they get married. He isn’t asking for much since she already plans on being with him forever 🙄

Holy cow this book is long. I am not liking Jacob anymore, Bella needs a brain and she basically wants to be a vampire so she can be pretty enough to be with Edward. Even though Edward has never said she was ugly. Bella really needs to work on her insecurity issues.

I forgot that Quil imprints on a two year old. This means that Stephanie Meyer didn’t just hurriedly put together the demon child Reneesme with Jacob story. She actually thought about it and that in my opinion makes it worse

Just finished learned Rosalie’s backstory and it’s still one of my favorite revenge stories. It is horribly tragic but her revenge is i👏🏻con👏🏻ic
Also, Rosalie has never tasted human blood. She should get way more respect! She may murder but she isn’t lacking self control

Bella just described Edward as unselfish…are we talking about the same Edward?

I’m just beginning this book and I’m already annoyed with Bella. Leave Jacob alone! You made your choice

Hon, I don’t think you get to worry about Jacob and his pack possibly being killers since the Cullens straight up confessed that they have killed people before and you had no qualms being with them

I know I said this in the first book but this girl needs therapy STAT! She cannot comprehend that being numb that long and finally feeling serotonin after hanging out with Jacob is not normal. Like she doesn’t really question it. Also, Jacob isn’t annoying me yet but I know it’ll change soon.

I know Bella likes to think she is a selfless martyr but she is the incredibly selfish and absolutely insufferable. Kind of wish she had died in Phoenix.

Just learned Esme’s heartbreaking backstory but I don’t think telling Bella that backstory right before you play baseball is the right time for that

How about we don’t wear a khaki skirt when we meet the fashionable vampire family for the first time, okay?
Totally forgot about Carlisle’s backstory but I would definitely read a book of that.
Also, I like how Edward glossed over how a vampire is killed. Really wanting to keep that power dynamic in place.

Stephanie Meyer had everything happen in the meadow scene. There is a lot to unpack but we will keep moving on.

The famous meadow is FIVE MILES away from the road where they park. And Edward has Bella walk there when they first go to it. He doesn’t carry her. I don’t care how in love she thinks she is with him, I would be so mad if my day with my “love” involved hiking

The infamous “how long have you been 17?” Actually happened in his car. So she stupidly didn’t walk out into a forest all alone to confront the vampire.
And when he confirmed that they try to only drink blood from animals she is very quick to use that as justification that he is a good person. Let’s ignore all the other red flags 😂

I remember getting obsessive about some things when I was a teen but Bella is on another level with her obsession with Edward. GET A LIFE!

Edward is way more chaotic than I remember. And he and Bella actually have some personality! Why did the movies take those away? 😂

This summer I want to reread this series because I haven’t touched it since it came out. But I keep seeing videos that have used actual lines from the book and I can’t believe I was once obsessed with this book 😂 get ready for commentary because we are going into this as a 30 year old and not a 12 year old
