So excited to be reunited with Ana and Din!

Didn't realize I was signing myself up for SF/horror, this is quite a weird book! I think I like it?

While DCC isn't my favorite series or anything, it is fun and popcorn-y. It certainly works as a palette cleanser and break from the heavier stuff.

I got super invested after the big reveal halfway through and am excited to finish this!

Finally started my re-read. Found a dramatized cinematic audiobook with a full cast on Libby so that's fun!

This has to be the most emotionally devastating book I've read since one of Khaled Hosseini's. I thought he was the master of heartbreak but maybe it's Kristin Hannah 😭😭

There's just something about this author, I always enjoy her novels.

Okay so I'm here for the fantasy which is the best I've read in a while but I didn't expect there to be so much sexual tension?! It feels pretty forced, but maybe if I knew that going in I wouldn't have been so blindsided! Lol

The dialogue makes me cringe: it's so preachy and fails to achieve any real depth. I guess I'm not really a fan of TJ Klune. I'm only going to keep reading this because of book club.

Obsessed with this series now. Even better as an audiobook!

I'm enjoying this (it's a good spooky season read) but the prose is horrific. I used to be a huge fan of Leigh Bardugo but her writing definitely leaves something to be desired here.

For a minute, this got a little too philosophical for me. But a couple chapters ago the plot thickened and now I'm hooked!
