This is an informative book, imparting a modicum of understanding to those of us who are not physicists or mathematicians of how the the multiverse may have likely came to be, and is likely to in in a timeframe incomprehensible, and therefore, likely irrelevant to human perspective. I found it an enjoyable exercise of a part of my brain that I seldom engage.

A lovely novel. I will plan to read more of Ann Patchett. I read a lot of non fiction. It is refreshing to read something so full of human grace and vulnerability.

In beginning the book, I had some difficulty getting interested, as it seemed like a whiny memoir, and I do imagine being able to finish. I am grateful to be able to say that beginning about the 3rd chapter, I became quite engrossed in the phenomenon Klein was explaining, and the effectiveness with which the populists employ it to render our own language and positions meaningless and our differences indecipherable.
