Ugh everyone is sooo annoying and spoiled and naive in this book

I’m thinking it’s a 2.5 ⭐️ but marked as a 2 since goodreads still doesn’t do half stars

I feel real bad for Edgar, he’s the real victim here and was a decent guy aside from being a bit bratty to start as a kid. But he didn’t deserve to be tangled up in Catherine and Heathcliff’s affairs.

Also there is so much pointing to Heathcliff being a werewolf!!

I’ve only read the introduction and this book is already amazing. I can tell I’m going to learn a lot from it.

I hate every time Joseph talks—I can’t understand a god damn word he says

It’s okay so far. Definitely a bit mediocre—it won’t be getting higher than a 3 and right now it sits around a 2 for me. But I’m still intrigued to know why people like it so much, and to also gain context for the new movie coming out with Margot Robbie. Also I wasn’t expecting there to be such a heavy theme of civilized vs uncivilized
