EEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAARRRRRCCCCCCCCC

Going into this one fully as a hater and not morbidly curious like last time. Let's goooooooooo

do I dare disturb the universe? by this I mean, do I re-read my favorite high school book for the first time as an adult so I can start going to a book club?

73% of the way through the audiobook only for my checkout to expire :(((((( so this will just sit there until I can snag it again

buddy reading the finale with my husband so we can cry together!

only putting this back on my want to read to my husband and i can read it together this summer!!

Well. I've found another non-human character to love and identify with so I guess it's time to blow through this novella series!

I live for Natalie Haynes narrating her own audiobooks

"The more he thought, the more perplexed he was; and the more he endeavoured not to think, the more he thought." Relatable.

I have a silly amount of nostalgia surrounding this book but I also despise Charles Dickens so we'll see how this goes.

So we're 10% in and the things I love about this book continue to grow.
-queer and disabled MC!
-MC with synesthesia!
-WOLPERTINGER!
-flirting ruined by a wildly one-sided bar fight!
-reluctant partnerships forming!
-bread baking descriptions so nice I can almost smell them!
-a lovely amount of diversity!
-a character with PTSD and anxiety without those things being their only character traits!
