I really want to like this book but the accents are super annoying and the broken speech she uses when in other form is extremely annoying and not necessary. Also “the white man” was way over used. There are many other ways to describe it.

So far it’s okay. For some reason not a big fan of Catalina as I am Kate. I feel like the hidden legacy is more like a YA and they kind of make their own problems and everything magically aligns.

Ugh. This book gets on my nerves. I’m pretty confident it was just made up as they went along.

Ugh. This book makes me so mad. It’s so un reasonable. While I’m listening I have all the complaints but when I finally get a chance to make notes I can’t verbalize it.

It’s just too much. Everyone “hates” her yet she is the only person a whole city can call. And she is the savior of every situation and everything just perfectly works out. Ugh.

So far it’s just an okay for me. Started out decent but the sudden shift didn’t transition well. Kind of felt like a lot of filler.

Also there are some inconsistencies in her speaking ability after the transformation.

Still pushing ahead though. Maybe it gets better.

I may would have been a little more into it after I first read the series. But I guess I am bit far removed from it. I also read the first draft that was leaked (years after) so I thought this would maybe hit some content from the other books in the series but looks like it’s just the first one so that was a little disappointing.

Good so far. A little predictable but entertaining. I like the characters and they have good individual personalities. You can tell the will probably have some side stories.

A little bit my thing but giving it more time.

The main character continues to get in my nerves but I would like to finish the book for the other characters. She has had multiple chances to fix things but she is kind of like a selfish petulant child sometimes. It’s very annoying

A bit frustrated with this story.
1. You can tell she had a specific ending in mind and just filled in the middle with antidotes
2. I hate when The main character keeps key information from other characters. It’s frustrating.
3. I don’t like the extensive self monologues. I feel like The main characters inability to act is what keeps the story going.
4. It’s very predictable.

Omg!!! I’m only 30 mins in and I am considering returning it. The chick doing this audiobook has the MOST annoying voice and cadence. Argh!!!!!

not bad for YA...

So far pretty interesting concept. Has kept me engaged and it's not too YA!

It's having a hard time keeping my attention. I have read 2 books between this one. I'm usually a fan so I will keep pushing through.

Why is everyone always yelling for no dang reason. This book drives me crazy.

It's been a while since I read a Kenyon book, but so far this one seems a bit juvenile in the writing and dialogue. Hopefully the flow will pick up soon.

My precious!!! I have been waiting so long. I am going to attempt to savor and not finish it all tonight.

I am having a bit of trouble finishing the book. I think the author is an actual Dr, but there seems to be a bit of creative story telling. Also she comes off a bit judgmental of the patients. I am pretty confident I will finish the book, but it will be a challenge (and a lot of eye rolling)

Enjoying reading her journey. Not your run of the mill autobiography. She tells an interesting story in a light and understandable way

At first I was not really sure I could get through it, but eventually I came to enjoy it. Looking forward to book 2
