Meh, it can’t hold my attention.

Not enjoying the Alice chapters… why doesn’t she tell her husband what she wants/needs instead of expecting him to be a mind reader?

I’m enjoying the story but not the writing style. 8 line sentences and dialogue that begins mid paragraph are not my jam.

Why does nobody have a normal name?

I'm having a hard time trying the two stories together... plus it seems to have her political persuasion in it again, like The Giving Quilt.

Zeke is horrible. I read reviews that he seemed too perfect. What?!? He did this to Abra! He took her in, became her father, and cast hr out.

This book is making me angry and sad but I still keep reading. How could Zeke give up a daughter? And then just expect her to be fine with it? Crazy....

This is an informative book by an intelligent man.

the fact that she's going through the memoir so slowly is unrealistic and driving me batty... but it's still a good book. I can already see where it's heading, though.

Wow... jump right in! It delicately recaps Ashfalls happenings without overdoing it... just enough for you to remember... but oh-my-goat so good!

I need to hurry... this is due back at the library Monday! Finally getting into it, so it shouldn't be too hard.

My husband started this while I was quickly reading a wait listed book... I finished before him but he finished last night and I'm looking forward to starting again :)

I just ran into the library yesterday... sad because none of my requests had made it in yet but I needed something to read. Browsing around I stumbled upon this. I enjoyed the first book, so why not? It's great thus far!

I'm liking Buttercup less in the book than I like her in the movie... and I'm not particularly fond of her in the movie. But I guess it's more about love in the book because she is so darn unlikable. It's funny how the "life is pain" line is not by Westley in the book... just odd little differences. I like having the back stories on all the characters.

Wow... not a book you want to read right before bed. Hard to read, but harder to imagine that she actually went through it all. I've found myself praying for her a lot since I began reading.
