The full-cast graphic audio is FANTASTIC!

I hate unreliable narrators because they catch me off guard and I hate that… but this one is so clearly on the spectrum, I am attempting to stick with it. I’d grade this book a D so far.

Am I becoming a scientist accidentally?

Listening on Audible, no Graphic Audio available for this one, and it’s great … until the narrator says eeeeeeeeeethur with 7,000 E’s. Ugh. It’s like she was paid for every millisecond of my life lost to her pronunciation of that one damn word. So, I’m debating switching to using my eyeballs to read this one.

Help! Who are the authors who write relatable, witty, smart female protagonists over the age of 30? I need to get out of these little baby heroines’ underdeveloped brains.

Struggling… whenever the main characters are separated (see also Tower of Dawn and ACOWAR), it is a SLOG to hold my attention.

This book has the most ridiculous, unrealistic, obnoxiously bad inner monologues from the two main characters. I may DNF this.
