Obviously a lot of what is in this book is outdated, but it is still interesting to read about a lot of the same frustrations I had 20 years ago. Our debt at that time was $5T and Bill was very concerned, now it's $21T. It was stupid then and now it's "incredibly" stupid. What will it be in 20 more years? I'll need to think of another adverb...

I read this many years ago and really enjoyed it, so I thought it would be fun to read again.

This book is so well written that you slide into the story like you were there. It's bringing back a lot of memories for me growing up in that general time period.

Very interesting read. A couple of the myths of the past I actually thought were still true. Mr. Offit's salient point is that we all fall into that trap sometimes by not always validating mass/strong opinion with data/facts.
