Omg this ending is making me aaaaanxious!! I have no idea where this is going to end and I am resisting my urge to check wikipedia to easy my anxieties.

I watched this movie a lot as a little girl, so it’s been interesting for me to visit the story as an adult.

Second read through! I forgot so many details, so I’ve been enjoying this re-read. It’s cool that it can be so interesting even though I know what ultimately happens.

This is my second read through, and I’ve set it down for a bit. Still love this series, it’s just as funny and interesting the second time around, hence the re-read, but have been distracted by newer books.

A fun book. I pick it up here and there as I want to listen to a new story.

Always love a Stephanie Plum novel. This is the first time I’m reading one of these as a physical book instead of an audiobook and I do have to say I miss my audiobooks! For some reason this one is just not available as an audiobook 🤷‍♀️

Really liking this so far! So many ideas going on in my head about how the crime happened. What a position to be in!

I definitely like the TV show better, but it’s been fun getting this alternate/additional perspective. It’s just about to get to the spicy stuff!

I’m honestly not loving this book. Her grief and processing is just not really ringing true to me… and also, I don’t understand how she’s run into her mom. I think maybe I like more hard magic systems, I can’t get past the impossibility of her meeting her mom to get fully immersed in the story, I keep wondering if this is time travel or just like a weird hallucination, or some inexplicable pocket of magic.

Can ANYONE tell me what the Shepherds King bargained for the Chalice card?? Maybe I haven’t gotten there yet, but early on the chapter title cards explained what he traded for the power of every other card (even the twin alders!) EXCEPT the chalice card and now that i’ve noticed it’s driving me mad.
