Book one done in the series.

Stopped reading this book as the author takes liberty in accessing the women. Yes there are some good biblical facts, but his make arrogance is so off putting.
I do not recommend this book. Didn’t think it matter that a man wrote this, but in this case it does.

Was hoping for a few sweet, historical light Christmas romance stories. The first story was interesting but I’m not into reading graphic sexual content.
Tried the 2nd story, started down the same path.
Stopped reading and deleted the books.

Very good selection of scriptures and encouragement.

Such an inspiring book!
I truly enjoyed reading the quotes of C. H. Spurgeon throughout this book. His sole purpose in life was to please his Heavenly Father. May we all aspire to have his passion in sharing faith in Jesus Christ and sharing God’s life with those God brings into our lives.

I thought this book was timely in 2000, but it is just as timely now.
Excellent book for every believer who desires God’s presence on the earth.

A good devotional I quoted often.
Made me truly reflect on my life and my ability to be grateful to God no matter what my day was like. Encouraged me to continue my walk on this earth thanking God in all things.

I enjoyed the dialogue between the main character and his dog. I appreciate the fact that he chose to be a blessing to others despite his life challenges. As I am a Christian I couldn’t fully appreciate the spiritual aspect that the author was trying to convey.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Appreciate the historical digging the author took the time to research and the witty way she wove it into this intriguing story.

I highly recommend this book.
Enjoy how the author goes between two time periods, two women’s lives that are similar in their separate journeys.
