Skipped reading this series when it came out. Watching the movies with my Wife, and wanted to go back and compare the novels to the movies. I understand why this book was so popular at least!

Ok- it is getting better. Dragons and dragons magic

I am not sure if I like this one. I think it will get better but right now there is not enough depth for me. Most likely because this is a WLW relationship that seems unrealistic to me. There does not seem to be enough depth in the relationship, though I suppose they rarely got to see each other due to "work" obligations.

I genuinely love the witty internal dialogue that Penny Reid's characters have. I was listneing to the audiobook last night while doing dishes and several times my kids asked me what was so funny.
