I’ve been on the fence about whether I will keep reading. It’s not the most engaging read and the writer seems a bit too sympathetic to think very critically about her subjects. They seem to me like The Kardashians in terms of cultural appeal and class divisions. Granted this was published in 2012 but I think there’s more to explore as it seems to parallel our current times
