Well - what a bloody start !
Would think this is too gore for me - yet I’m intrigued - I’ll keep going
Fight scenes are vivid -
So far good balance between show and tell .

I love this series !! I like to read it slowly .. the prose / the world / the mindset feels so unique .

Whoa … I’m so intrigued ! The world seems to be very deep already . I’m reeled in emotionally at this point ., this will be a slow read / I want to make sure I get the depth of it

Ok now I’m officially HOOkED to the series .
This is a perfect cozy winter read . I will definatly keep reading the series next year

It took me a bit to get onto this book - even thought o did find the tone / characters very intriguing from the beginning - it did feel a bit too ‘ simplistic ‘ at first .
I was wrong - it reads fast because of accessible prose but it delivers some emotional fuzz / warmth non stop . I’m so endeared by the reading experience so far! Perfect to read before going to bed. Not too heavy but impactful .
