I LOVE IT!

DNF. Horrible, horrible book. I tried to muddle through but the characters were flat and the story stuttered. I don’t understand the high ratings and rave reviews.

I have adored McLain’s books in the past; Circling the Sun and The Paris Wife. But Love and Ruin sadly will be shelved as DNF. I felt fogged in and far away from the story and characters. Hemingway and Martha had about as much depth as a couple flat Stanleys. I tried and tried but at 50% mark I couldn’t waste my time any longer.

Loving this quirky, intriguing story. Has a European flavor but is set in New York.

Loving this book.

Wow! What took me so long to jump into this pallenquin! (A little GOT humor, haha.) I have not watched the show which, I imagine, works in my favor.

I absolutely freaking love this book so far!! "Everybody who is somebody becomes nobody the moment they fail."

I don't know why but I can't get into this book right now. I loved Flat Out Love and was looking forward to another witty Jessica Park book...alas this one is being placed on the back burner for a bit.

Umm, I will just say that this book is delicious. I have been hooked since Lexi and Jax's sexy texting at the airport. A plausible storyline which is always nice and the characters are likable and not one dimensional. Jax Chamberlain is the ultimate male and Lexi makes rooting for her easy. So far soooo good.
