"Don't Waste Your Food - Children Are Starving in China" (Liu and Martinez 38). This quote made me realize that I should eat every single thing on my plate and be grateful that I have food to eat. Because there are many other people who are less fortunate than I am, I should be feeling grateful and lucky I get to feed my tummy.

“villains could be heroic, and heroes could do evil” (Chokshi 125). This quote actually reflects many stories around the world. We call those who we believed did good things for the majority "heroes". But little did we know that those heroes could have done bad things to who we call "villains". Maybe, heroes did evil things to the villains. So, to take revenge, villains had no choice but to take revenge on the hero.

"My mother always says that knowledge is power" (Chokshi 122). I chose this quote because it is very true. There are many things other people can take away from you, but one thing they cannot take is our knowledge. This is also what adults have taught me about. They told me to study hard so that you will not be looked down upon by someone else.

"[A] quest sounded awesome. But in reality, a whole lot of lives hung in the balance. Maybe that's why superheroes wore capes. Maybe they weren't actually capes at all, but safety blankets" (Chokshi 71). I picked this quote because it actually reflects everyone in this world. No matter how brave a person is, they all would need a little bit of comfort and courage for themselves to feel safe while saving others too.

"Please, oh, please, I'll never lie again, I promise" (Chokshi 15). Lying is one of the bad practices we, humans considered a bad thing. Yet, people still continue to lie out of selfishness, just so that they could save themselves. This quote stood out because even though no one wanted to or promised not to lie, but when you did it once, you will continue to lie more without realizing.
