Considering DNF’ing. Too many underdeveloped characters halfway through. Too many POVs. Idk who the main character actually is. It’s interesting but at the fake same time, nothing is actually happening.

I don’t really like the dom/sub dynamic. Thankfully, I’m listening to this book so I can do so passively and finish it. :/

Loving itttt!

This has been a SLOW read for me — not bc it’s uninteresting but bc it’s…strange. I love the historical flashbacks & glimpses into Ezra’s life but it’s somewhat disappointing to find out his big secret more than halfway through the book. Ricki isn’t a character I’ve been able to connect with either. She seems incomplete & some parts of the book feel a bit too unrealistic for me to take seriously.

I really want to love it but so far there’s been a lot of unnecessary fluff in between the action. I know we have to build up to what’s important but sheesh. I don’t always care for the little details or unnecessary dialogue. 😅

Not really feeling Janelle’s constant lack of a backbone. It’s becoming frustrating.

It’s a little too detailed for me. We don’t need to read how ol boy locked the car, went into the house, bent down, locked the door, set the alarm. Like PLEASE summarize.

It’s okay. The grammar and punctuation is lacking. And the character development seems a bit rushed. There’s no true sense of time to help me understand how quickly Solana and Royal’s relationship is progressing.
