The plot of this book is very uneven. Sometimes I'm gripping the edge of my seat, immersed in gorgeous world building and others I'm so bored I want to skip whole chapters :/

I think it's probably not a great sign that Megan hasn't had a chapter in a hot minute

Why in the world would any of them leave their homes at all???

Here's the thing, Libby recommended this to me as a sci-fi, and it is! But it did not warn me it was a YA Sci fi, which imo, is an entirely separate genre. Don't know if I'll be finishing this one
