Here's the thing, Libby recommended this to me as a sci-fi, and it is! But it did not warn me it was a YA Sci fi, which imo, is an entirely separate genre. Don't know if I'll be finishing this one

Okay so the first part of this book was great, really interesting and fun. I'm 28% through and it's starting to sound like a textbook. I absolutely do not need 50 years of war politics, and I'm absolutely not going to remember any of it, so I hope it's not important!
