Political aliens!

High alien politics based on an moon that has an atmosphere that is mostly water based I believe. The reader is dropped right in and must swim!!!

I need this book to get going a bit, its dragging slightly. Good prose and good build up, but it jumped back in time, not a fan of this plot use when it seems like it may be an entire part of the book and not just a chapter jump or scene jump.

This book is high in detail & needs a full amount of attention to get into, let’s see where it goes.

This is such a good series, highly recommend it for anyone starting into Fantasy for the first time. Its touching, its brutal, its the best of what writing can do, range of emotions, expansive plot and fantastic world building and character work.

Pretty good so far, great flow, fantastic action, character growth. I just need a glossary of characters.

I can't believe this thing is 350 pages...

Umm, the opening is pretty abrupt, no lead in and seems pretty ridiculous, not sure where this is going but straight up gave me the Beetlejuice couple are in a haunted house and now the husband is missing and the wife is like, "meh" vibes, I'm not scared, I'm not intrigued, I'm just reading cause I bought the thing so far.

It's a quick read, feels like at first a bit of the Martian knock off, but gets better, from what I hear its worth the read so I continue on.

One of the best books I've read this year, touching, dark, twisted, there's a cat... named Bully.

Do I see a love triangle occurring, or is the author just playing with my head now? Double Enemies to lovers, such a slow burn. I have to say, I would love to see this author write a pure epic fantasy book, just a big brick of a book set in a new world with romance as not a plot point, I think she has the prose chops to do it. If this is the authors first book look out for the rest of them!
