Manish Kamble
Manish Kamble is on page 180 of 560 of The Iliad
E. V Rieu Translation is way easy to read and sorta funny than Samuel Butler's. I am not sure if goddess can be called bitch or even they were called in such manner, a better word might have been used? though its funny when you read it.

Like the way characters introduced, straightforward writing. Nothing major happened yet. So much biblical reference in 2nd chapter, an interpretation of sort, trying to prove the point to one, got killed after conviction?

Whimsical!!

Manish Kamble is on page 83 of 240 of White Nights (Little Clothbound Classics)
“The Nasty Business,” the first story in this edition of White Nights, is a funny little tale of a state councilor who finds himself tangled in the pride and prejudices of social norms. The story unfolds various aspects of human social relations such as ambitions, insecurities, and deepest desires.

Would like to read something similar for long time if few such suggestions comes along. Its alluring, few little details here and there are something I cherish. A lot to take, like new authors and books from Jap Lit, never really had my hands on any of these, neither heard, surely would look forward to read them.

As for the story, its simple and engaging, a girl fond of books and life around it.
