This book really isn't for Young Adults. it cannot be appreciated by them, nor can it be adequately critiqued by them. Still, it should be taught at the college level and within AP courses. Students should really consider the fact that this book paints Atticus Finch as a White Savior, and the book itself is more so Racism's effects on WHITE people, rather than the people who experience it everyday.
