It's odd to see so many of my friends love this series with all their heart. I did in fact love the movies, and these too are entertaining and are great for introducing children to the fantasy genre. But, the racist undertones, repetitive plot and boring writing makes it a bit difficult to ever give any of the books a five thusfar. This one might prove me wrong though!
