Don't know if I'll finish this...its pretty dry....

I feel like the main character Clare is a simpering fool. I’m not a fan of her...but maybe I’m not supposed to be. She seems like a drama queen to me. Carrying on to see how the story turns out

Ummm. The first chapter was horrible and it took everything I had to keep at it. I felt like the author tried to put way too many details into one sentence which made it hard to follow. After that though it wasn’t bad. Interesting if not exciting.

I liked it. Loved hearing the stories from powerful women.

Slow...choppy...a little confusing. It seems like it's just a regurgitation of historical facts found rather then scholarly and historical interpretations. It's been very hard for me to continue reading this!
