This feels like taking a walk with a friend. While all of it is interesting, some chapters are more absorbing than others. There's one on Ginkgo trees, which I'm excited about :) My favorite character is Josephine, the author's 3-year-old daughter (I get so happy whenever she's mentioned in a chapter, like yess it's Jo).

You're telling me this book is funny, with characters that are delightfully endearing and human, and a romance that is heartfelt, sexy, and has just enough delicious pining to make you squeal? Does Cat Sebastian know how to lose??

I am trying not to devour this any faster than I currently am because it's so good and I'm going to miss this story when it's over

The way this is poignant, sexy, queer, AND a sharp exploration of grief. I am in love <3

I don't know what page I'm on because I'm reading this book through Dracula Daily, but it's good so far. A mix of eerie mystery and horror (not to mention the sense of impending doom). I love the narrative (a book through letters? Yes, please!) and the characters. Jonathan is great, but Miss Mina Murray may have stolen my heart.

I have so much to say about this book (but I'm going to wait until I finish and can write a full-fledged review) but I WILL say that I love the little stories embedded in the main narrative, they make me feel like I'm reading a collection of fairytales. Also Darragh is so lovable, he's equal parts strong and vulnerable and just - I'm rooting for him already.

So far, this book has managed to be poetic, sharply insightful, moving, and relatable, all with the added dash of humor. How has it taken me so long to find this collection?

Deliciously intriguing

Not a fan of the deaf jokes, or how Emma is constantly described as "plain". Other than those drawbacks, it's an interesting start. I like the eerie, dark descriptions of London so far.

Pulley's writing is still gorgeous and atmospheric! The book starts off a little slow, but I like it so far. Mori, Thaniel, and Six are an adorable family, and they have my whole heart captive.

I feel like most of the answers to these questions should just be, "Please don't,". That being said, I enjoy going on these speculative journeys about whacky possibilities. I'm listening to the audiobook, and I'm loving how the tone and humor come out so well.

I love it so far - so thoughtful and heartwarming.
