dont necessarily want to dnf the other book right now cause the first part was enjoyable but maybe if i read a second book alongside it will help keep the motivation for reading

part one was enjoyable but unfortunately so far part two feels more of a slog since its more so discussing specific series in detail. i wish this included more detail about the work of paleontologists like the first half had a bit of.

this is making me more excited to go to royal tyrell museum which i live kinda near by. also utahraptors wig in this goes crazy

i think people that didnt like rise and fall would like this less because theres less information (not in a bad way though to me at least) and there is more of a personal anecdote to it all which was peoples biggest complaint of rise and fall lol

i need to read a good book i cannot read another bad book for a while only highly rated books and ones ive heard good things about allowed only for the time being

my extremely stubborn ass was like this is so bad but i will finish this, im like 40+ chapters in but its unbearably bad its just two people talk about nothing, sex scene with really bad writing and repeat that for every chapter. thought i could get past the sex scenes but this is like the 6th or 7th one and its just. So. Bad. how do you write books like this without consequences. how.

apparently the author follows philly sports teams so the flyers would be included but, so far this reads like the author doesn't know much about hockey due to how the mc acts in some situations where you would 100% experience whether its mens or womens hockey even though her team is mixed mens/womens (which is a whole other thing)

"blah blah blah rich people and their rich sports" you play a predominantly white sport that needs you to be wealthy to be able to afford hockey gear + everything else. oh and you go to private school so this doesnt really work out lmfao
