if this turns out to have a romance like its gearing up to be, it will be so massively disappointing and a misunderstanding for the main character

i know where this is going between the two main characters, so far am not a fan but. love that the mc is lowkey a sex addict and has a prescription drug addiction cause of his grief. because i like the ugliness behind grief that can happen not that i think its cool or anything lol
