i need to read a good book i cannot read another bad book for a while only highly rated books and ones ive heard good things about allowed only for the time being

my extremely stubborn ass was like this is so bad but i will finish this, im like 40+ chapters in but its unbearably bad its just two people talk about nothing, sex scene with really bad writing and repeat that for every chapter. thought i could get past the sex scenes but this is like the 6th or 7th one and its just. So. Bad. how do you write books like this without consequences. how.

apparently the author follows philly sports teams so the flyers would be included but, so far this reads like the author doesn't know much about hockey due to how the mc acts in some situations where you would 100% experience whether its mens or womens hockey even though her team is mixed mens/womens (which is a whole other thing)
