I am no longer getting emails from Goodreads, and I have tried to fix it to see if my settings are wrong, but I don't think they are. So now I can't see when someone makes a comment. Any ideas? Anyone else having this problem? In the meantime, can I find comments by coming here?

Jessaka is starting The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ
I wanted an Easter book to read this year, well, actually I wasn't looking for one, but a new friend of mine was reading this, and so it looked like a good book to read, especially since I don't celebrate Easter, but no fear, I do celebrate Christmas, after all it is a pagan holiday. And to be honest, I just love Santa Claus and decorated tress.

Jessaka is starting In Search of Lost Time
I have read several of these pages over and over again for they are so beautiful, but I never got past them. I have wanted to read this book for over 28 years, and so it stays in my current reading list until it is finished.

“Our souls have been suffering in a kind of darkness”
― Robert Olmstead

This book is dark in a way that I don't like, and I can't say why, outside of knowing that the ugly images stay with me. Even the writing is dark.

Jessaka is 10% done with When the Water Runs Out
Finally a book that gets my mind off of Trump. I call it "the full catastrophe" and it is based on truth, water will run out in CA and the Southwest in two years, even NASA says this. I have been following this subject for some years since I was born in CA. I would suggest you sell your house now and move to Canada. David Canford has turned his book into a post apocalyptic novel. Itkeeps my mind off the election.

Jessaka is starting Under the Volcano
I haven't begun this book, but, well, I have started twice before, once after I had taken a trip to Mexico. His vocabulary so large that even after looking up a word I don't know what it means in the sentence. At least I have seen the movie a few times and own it, so I shouldn't get too lost. I am determined to read it all even if I don't understand what is going on.

I am bored with this book too. They seem to be setting up the characters, and I would rather they began with getting out of the plane after it crashed.
