at least chiamaka seemed a little more trusting of the reporter so that’s good, that she can still be optimistic about people’s intentions. i hope that doesn’t get crushed and the reporter actually follows through with the plan.

it kinda sucks how the legal system only cares about the crime itself and not the circumstances surrounding the crime. like they care that dre was a dealer but they don’t care that he needed to become one in order to survive. other people would do the same if they were desperate enough. the only reason it was dre & not them is simply a matter of luck.

i hope he doesn’t serve a horribly long sentence :( i want him to have another chance

i feel so so bad bc dre was just doing what he needed to in order to survive :( he’s had such an awful life and was just trying to get by. which was already hard enough and then a bunch of homophobes made his life so so much worse. there was no winning for him and that broke my heart.

i don’t think she’s a bad person but i think she’s done too much harm to be redeemed in chiamaka’s eyes, at least to the extent of rebuilding their relationship.

look i really do believe belle when she says she regrets everything and that she truly had feelings for chiamaka but this is really something idk if she can recover from, at least not with chiamaka. like yes become a better person and then move on and fall in love with someone else but with the person you participated in a racist hate campaign against?? girl you didn’t burn that bridge you INCINERATED it.
