Yes; what are the odds that 'zombies' will be at the place where the corpses are?!

Charlie is annoying me so much, as is Jack.
This might be the last book in the series that I'm going to read.

Jack has crossed the line into being controlling & suffocating...

Have to skim the bits with Trace in; so annoying as every other supporting character is interesting, but my dislike of him and the love triangle means I'm very unlikely to continue with this series.

I bet the killer is who I instantly pegged, and the reason is the obvious one that immediately came to mind...

Love triangles are so overdone in cosy mysteries, that it's boring and is tempting me to stop reading -especially since one of the prospects was a instant turn off.

Slower compared to book 1 because Cass is annoying me, with her stupid decisions, and I didn't warm to Scarlett. Gabriel is also irking me - I think it's because my potential-love-triangle alarm is ringing. I hate love triangles in urban fantasies; such a overused space-filler...

Scarlett is already pissing me off.

At first I was enjoying this book and had checked Amazon to see how much buying the rest of the series would cost, but I've now gone way past the point of thinking that the lead is a stupid ditz.

This whole two-alpha's-competing-for-the-heroine thing better not be an ongoing storyline; I was really enjoying this book, but now I'm fed up about reading the same old love triangle crap that seems to pop up in every other UF nowadays...

I'm having trouble concentrating on books at the minute, so be prepared to see lots of lighter [for me] fare in my feed...

I'm now skimming through the chapters that focus on Arden. This series should have had more Zara IMHO...
