DNF - started to lose the plot and wasn't enjoying the multiple POV storytelling with this one

I needed this book at this time in my life

I feel deeply and painfully seen by the first half of this book, coming of age in the 90s and early 00s.
She paints a very visceral picture of what it felt like to be young and lost in that very specific time and grasp onto life rafts of people, jobs and drugs to keep afloat.

DNF, didn't feel like the first one and I needed that consistency

Cant finish it, just can’t get into it.

It's taken me three days to get to page 33. This book is infuriating, long winded and lacks punctuation in the most annoying way. I'm sure it's a classic and a brilliant masterpiece but it can't hold my attention for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Totally lost my interest. Plot just drags on with no excitement or anticipation of something to come. I may pick it back up later.....

Awesome book! Compulsively readable and great for anyone who grew up listening to the riot grrl bands of the 90s and early 00s.
Kindof lost steam best the end but I thoroughly enjoyed the writing.
