There are so many things swirling around in my head. Not all of them are good either. There are a lot of things I'm finding are inconsistent with things we as readers have learned long before now.

This book is spiraling into confusion for me. There are way too many side characters, who may or may not be infected, to keep track of. I don't have problems with a big cast of characters as long as they don't suck up all of the plot.

I'm not sure it makes a whole lot of sense. Who is a vampire, who isn't, how you become one, the virus, beating it, etc. It's hard to follow.

It's reading slow but the premise is interesting.

I'm surprised I've made it this far.

I've already cried a few times. I'm seriously attached to these characters.
