I'm not sure which is more outrageous -- the Fifty Shades series or this book. SJM is back to her same shitty sex-tropes. This is why I stopped reading ACOTAR after the second or third book. Predictable, weak plot lost in even weaker subplots, and every single shittu romance trope.

At the start of the book, I had to push through DNFing it. However, when they first encountered 𝒜𝓊𝓇𝑜𝓇𝒶, I was hooked! It definitely reminds me of Event Horizon meets Titanic. I'm okay with it 😁

The sex scenes in this book read like a teenage fantasy. They're outrageous! I think porn has better scripts. How many takes it did the narrator record? I cannot imagine she was able to read some of these scenes without cracking up, especially when his cock boings out 🤣 That said, the main plot is rather interesting. Learning about the Bone Quarter was downright terrifying!
