If there was ever a line in a book to describe me, this is it!! I love finding myself in books!

I’m not a fan of the whiny FMC. The story is intriguing though. I’m liking the psychological thrill.

The hierarchical structure depicted amongst the holidays is amazing. Add in the politics of it all and the familial structure…I am SO rooting for Hex and Coal to overcome.

There is so much I don’t like about this book. But I keep going. The story idea is great! But, I don’t like the FMC whininess and sole focus on vengeance. There are potential paths the story could take, but, the focus remains.

Restarted 7/15/23.

This book is outside of my norm. I honestly had moments that I didn’t know what I was reading. The idea of this MC was odd to me. By the end of the book, I was left in awe. It is an odd book, but I liked it.
