4.3 Right time for me to check in with Joe, Jeremy and Lila. Enjoyed The Life We Bury, so this was expected to be good...and it was.
However, as in the first book, the violent fight scenes were overdone and unrealistic...but, I can live with that.
"Maybe" visiting with Jeremy was my favorite part of each book!

Enjoyed the narration on this. I had to keep reminding myself that this was fictional.. not biographical!
I then binged the series and it was quite entertaining…oh those 70’s!

Sweet story. Giving g it 3.75. A little bit fairytale-ish, but held my interest. Listening to this whine working on a quilting project was perfect..I didn’t feel xxx like I had to keep track of many characters or events.

A female version of Ove… but the delightful dialog from Rose was entertaining and still heartfelt

Putting aside for a bit.

Women this is a roadmap thru many contemporary feelings… with so many of us reaching different but similar conclusions

Listened to … free book on audio.
3.5 .. narrated exceptionally well which kept me engaged.
Thinking after this .. with so many dark scenes… I will look for a more light spirited book!
The twist in this had me surprised and actually delighted that what I thought was an easy solve…wasn’t for me.
I probably would have given this a 4… feeling stingy today!

Eager to begin this book. Loved The Swans of Fifth Ave and The Aviator's Wife.....this should be great!

Since I am not reading everyday, I am having difficulty keeping track of the characters and events. I usually don't mind stories that jump around...perhaps it is the timing with all the stress in the country.

I put this book aside to read book club choice. But, I am not seeming to enjoy this very much.????
