Safe place - for me this was frustrating, there was a lot of context that was missing and I think it works better for fans of the author's assumed other works. I do like the narrators interactions.
Keeting it real was awesome and my first 5* in this anthology. Would love to see more of the main characters. I had a hoot.

Gold Standard - liked this one. Reminded me of DnD. Heisty.
Howl-o-ween was a creepy halloween take, with just the right amount of scary for me.
Dog was cute, but odd. There were a few syntax errors and I feel like I didn't know the world well enough. Ending left me with more questions.
Safe Place - This one had an unexpected narrator, but was mainly sweet. A dog/human long bond.

I'd missed Mercy. There's a murder mystery horror afoot and I feel like I remember nothing from the previous book.

Slow pace, I like the MC, but I also feel like I continuously am 3 chapters ahead of her.

Another Britlingen mission (now if I could remember where I met them before). It worked well, I'd read more about them.

After reading about date three, I came here and was not disappointed. So far my favorite date. Innocent and cute (some gore) and just what I needed.

Did I skip straight to Asil? Yes, yes I did.
I really like Asil and this outing with him and the not-date delivered across the board. I somehow missed the previous date, so I was slightly confused, but it works well as a standalone.

Troll life
This was fun. I liked the trains, the station, the puppy and the plot. Memorable characters.

Silverspell
I read this a few days ago and now apparently remember nothing. A quick skim reminded me this is about witches and werewolves and vamps and murder. I enjoyed it just fine

Grave Gambles - This was a delight! I will likely be picking up more Grave books.

That was the longest unexpected sex scene I've encountered in a while. Also Cassie: Just get out of the bath and start moving again.

Fire Hazard. I love Oberon. Narration was good. Australian setting was fun. But felt like a lot of infodump/true history.

5 stars Train to last hope. For me this one was great. Think I feel this is the best one so far. And it's a universe I'm totally unfamiliar with.

Armstrong: Familiar universe, lovely short, cute. Good stand-alone.

Bishop's take on what to me reads as Davy Jones locker and a snippet of a European setting in The Others was a treat. Best enjoyed if you've read the series though (also has world spoilers, but not character ones).

I love the idea of the intro.

Butcher's entry about Toot-Toot is fun, but I am not a series reader and I think I'd enjoy it more if I where, and also... this one has major spoilers.

Trust Cassandra to never stand still for a moment unless unconscious. But, I'm happy to be jumping through time with her again (now my library book just needs to come back to me)
