Okay I’ve just realised that threesomes were brought up in the last book with Nic and Lo. The groundwork was laid there, with those characters, the scene would have made sense in that book.

But it never got mentioned in Game On until it was suddenly happening out of nowhere.

I love Stella as a character, she feels well rounded and thought through. But Tyler is…I don’t know how to describe it, so unlikeable that that I don’t want to waste anymore time in his world. He’s either so well written that I genuinely hate him, or 2D and that why I can’t like him,

I hate him basically.

Okay I’m tempted to DNF this book. I nearly just gave up after the first couple of chapters and throw my kindle across the room when she crawled into his lap after knowing for 10 minutes.

But the random threesome out of nowhere??? It’s annoys me, and I enjoy throuple books. But it just feels thrown in for no reason, what research was done into this bit of the book??

This author needs to use a thesaurus and find some alternative words for mate.

The world building by in this book is phenomenal. I don’t understand how there can still be 40% to go because it feels as it we’ve reached the climax already!

So far I really hate the male lead in this book, and I’m not feeling the chemistry between the two main characters.

DNF: it’s a chore every time I pick this book up.

I keep having to visit a dictionary to discover what certain words mean. There’s nothing like an author who wishes to show off the breadth of their vocabulary and research to take you out of a story.

It doesn’t matter how many times I ready this book, it is always a joy to read.

Boooooooooored.

I am so bored reading this book. I’m struggling to get into this one. And I’m a Jay Kristoff fan. I’ve enjoyed reading all of his other books.

But this one is simply just not doing it for me.

I’m listening to it on Audible, so far I’ve listed for 6 hours, and I still don’t care about the main character.

The number of super short chapters, and I mean LESS THAN A PAGE, in this book are driving me nuts.

I’m currently so bored I’ve seriously considered not finishing this damned book, but when I’ve tried to look up the ending, even the spoilers sound ridiculously complicated and convoluted. I’ve invested so much time into this series, I reread the first two books in the run up to this, that I just wanted to know how it ended. So I’m now reading it resentfully, just so I can find out.
