Already so dark and like, idk, atmospheric. Looks to be a good read. I'm still high on my love for nimona and when that happens I usually can't get into a new book but I think this is gonna get me hooked

Most boring book I’ve ever read 😪

I’m not gonna lie Nesryna pov is so slow and boring I just wanna go back to Yrene and Chaol, or at least let it be less oh and he made me smile I haven’t smiled in ten months and wow they’ve heard of me and oh the wind tore through my hair and seriously stop just give me action

The inconsistency of everyone one minute discussing important information in a public area to next minute acting hushed and talking in code to hide from listening ears is honestly ridiculous. You can’t talk out loud in your room about the stuff you’re hiding then talk in code in the very same room it’s just stupidly inconsistent. In other news I’m enjoying the book

More than just the Celaena incident, I’m excited to learn more about her and honestly really want her and Chaol to end up together

You can’t keep mentioning that ‘night on the steppes’ and actually think we’re dumb enough to not figure out he proposed, honestly it only took two mentions far it’s not that mysterious or shocking

Who the hell thought allowing the line ‘Chaol looked like he was swallowing hot coals’ was ok to pass and publish. Far I barely even started and I’m pissed off already don’t shit on me like that sjm

Oh julian. I must say cass clare wrote these characters so so sos so so well and in particular i feel julian and the blackthorns relationships. It really hits you hard. Julian had to become a father and dear God reading from his perspective is such a stab in the heart

Mark is such a fun character and he breaks the heart and all but gosh the poor babies and julian is just aaaargh 😭😭😭

While this new Kelsea is fascinating ( except her ongoing obsession with looks and that dead resurrected guy ) I feel like she's really going down that deranged antagonist way and I don't like her as much as I did in book 1. Idk I feel a disconnection to her character

Kelsie gives off heavy khaleesi vibes (even names are similar 😮)
Which I like very much. I'm enjoying the fact that it's so packed full of politics it feels almost like a textbook turned into a story. Very cool

I know 6th graders can be cruel but this is to a whole new level. It's actually extremely frustrating and they're literally getting no punishments for their behaviour like wtf

Feyres power is constantly changing between shes exhausted after doing one thing to doing exactly what her high lord husband does and while he gets exhausted she has enough reserves to keep going so much more.....its just annoying
