The inconsistency of everyone one minute discussing important information in a public area to next minute acting hushed and talking in code to hide from listening ears is honestly ridiculous. You can’t talk out loud in your room about the stuff you’re hiding then talk in code in the very same room it’s just stupidly inconsistent. In other news I’m enjoying the book

You can’t keep mentioning that ‘night on the steppes’ and actually think we’re dumb enough to not figure out he proposed, honestly it only took two mentions far it’s not that mysterious or shocking
