Reading the 3rd book in the Kate Daniels series (by Ilona Andrews). It's funny because she's always complaining about not getting laid, but turns down every hot guy who wants her.

I hope the situation with her brothers gets better because so far they're a bunch of dicks. So emotionally and mentally abusive towards her, not to mention physically abusive, that I think one day they're just going to kill her in their possessiveness.

We get Adam's POV. I don't know if that's happened before.

I've had this book in paperback for months, but never got around to reading it. I forgot how well O'Banyon writes an alpha hero that can actually be sweet from the get go.

I haven't liked Sophie Oak heroes this much since Bliss book 1. Chase is adorable in all this rude awkwardness.

Gotta say, this is pretty damn boring so far. But it's highly rated for a reason, right? Hopefully?

Starts off with a bang. Good story idea, but I think it may be a little predictable. The heroine is kinda pissy and immature for her age (24 going on 25) but she has gone through a lot in her life. There are a lot of editing errors and inconsistencies but that can be excused when a book is self-published since an author is on his or her own.
