Reading this because a friend asked me to give it a chance. Maybe this message is great for some people, but I’m not feeling it.

Problematic claim number 1 - the man is supposed to lead the woman 🤦🏻‍♀️

Problematic claim number 2 - a woman wearing leggings is showing off her shape for men 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m going to push through this thing to give it a chance, but I will not enjoy it.

Well this book just lost a star for inaccurate reporting of the Columbine shooting. ☹️

Problem - didn’t get to this one quickly enough and I can’t remember what happened in the last one! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m only subjecting myself to this so that I may more thoroughly enjoy the Teens Creeps podcast episode that I expect will eviscerate it.

I am so disappointed in humanity. This is a hard book to read.

Trashing Jackson Galaxy for “his look” is not cool dude. If I was a DNF type of reader, that would probably be enough to make me put this one down.

Y’all this book is HILARIOUS!

Interesting note that this title claims slide presentations are most effective when they contain only images with voiceover narration when compared to both a mixture of images and text as well as text only. Coincidentally, a student recently made the same observation to me.

I’m only a few pages in, but this is delightful. 😊

Just have to point out the publisher could have packaged this one so much better! The inside pages should look like folded notes! If the background looked like notepaper paper with the creases from folding it up it would be so much more appealing. Anyway hand me a YA book about the 90s and I’ll read it, regardless of the packaging flaws.

Had my first request for a book about sex this year so I’m on the hunt for something more updated than the book from 2004 I was able to provide. Suggestions from fellow librarians/teachers/parents are welcome!

Also, what Beatrice Sparks did to this family is atrocious. I’m glad this book is not in my Library collection!

Wow this book is SOOO bad! Pushing my way through it because I know the Teen Creeps episode will be worth it.

Started reading an ARC of this from Netgalley. Really enjoying it, but bummed that I seem to be missing out on lots of illustrations and quotes that are just staticky lines in my copy. 😕

If you’re wondering why I’m reading lots of Pike and R.L. Stine lately, it’s because I recently discovered the podcast Teen Creeps. So fun to read along and listen!

Excited about listening to this old favorite of mine. I'll never forget reading it for the first time in 5th grade. 🙂
