Some things have gotten better, some have not. I don’t love the themes in this book. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But a few characters have grown on me.

I still don’t think this is as good as her first trilogy in this world. But it shows promise. So far I only truly like one character. Whereas I loved sooo many characters in the Assassin’s Apprentice. I’m missing my boy Fitz. 😂

Intrigued but SOOOO many POVs. I’m only on chapter 2 and it keeps flipping between people so I’m finding myself confused.
