We found Fortunato a few years ago and it was love at first free hot chocolate. Loved reading this story of grit, and sheer determination to get Fortunato to where it is today. I’m a sucker for a good entrepreneurial story, and since it’s local, all the better.

My son and I giggled our way through this book!

Heard great things about the book and snagged it for our family read aloud. I wasn’t quite prepared for the violence (although there were plenty of warnings in the reviews had I taken a second to look!), my 10 year old struggled with a few parts, but my 8 year old wasn’t bothered at all. As an adult, I loved getting lost in this world and we are absolutely going to finish out the next few books.

I need my friends to finish this one quick so we can chat! Loved 4th wing more- this was way too long with extra fill I didn’t think it needed, but I need to go over all the conspiracy theories and predictions for the final three books.
