Heard great things about the book and snagged it for our family read aloud. I wasn’t quite prepared for the violence (although there were plenty of warnings in the reviews had I taken a second to look!), my 10 year old struggled with a few parts, but my 8 year old wasn’t bothered at all. As an adult, I loved getting lost in this world and we are absolutely going to finish out the next few books.
